Fear of scarcity

Humans try to tackle this fear by hoarding things more than what they need, which is nothing but a short term gratification to please their minds. It never helps in long term and that’s why humans keep facing this fear time and again in their whole lifetime. The right way, though, is to overcome the fear by understanding the difference between needs and wants. By believing that needs will always be met by the super power because we are all interconnected as one entity.

This fear has originated from our animal instincts of “hunger”. Hunger in animals is only for food which give rise to another fear - fear of predator.

Same follows in humans. Here, hunger is not just limited to food, it includes wealth, property, etc. and this hunger also gives rise to another animal instinct in us - predatorship, dominancy, exploitation. We forget living in harmony and try to snatch things from others to just keep hoarding more and more.

To be honest, animals are better than us. They don’t hoard things, they never eat more than their hunger. They always live in harmony. Only when they are hungry, the role of prey and predator come into play. We humans just keep doing this for whole lifetime. Hum sabko sab kuch chahiye.

Spirituality teaches us to overcome the fear of scarcity and predator so that we evolve from our animal nature and become human in real sense.

प्रजापति से पशुपति बनने के सफ़र को spirituality बोलते हैं ।
